While I was digging for my seasonal playlist, I came across TYSON’s “Pisces Problems” and the lyrics really resonated with me and the collective message for June:
I'll lay low tonight
Got no room for big decisions
No appetite
For conversation starting
On my own tonight
Blue satellite at sea
Cause I'm working on my frequency
That line —- I’m working on my frequency lol, I’m going to answer “How are you doing” with that line from now on. Delving deeper into my natal chart I always felt I was more earth than anything, which I am! I have 6 earth placements (Taurus and Capricorn) but what came in at a close second was 5 water placements (Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio). I wasn’t surprised especially because of this work that I’m passionate about and it explains how I’m always feeling gravitated toward other water signs haha. I love learning about my natal chart, human design, etc because it gives me a different perspective and allows me to be more introspective on why and how I convey myself to…well myself 😂 the spaces I show up in and to the world.
May was a whirlwind — I randomly got to play b2b with Noodz and Mr. Carmack, opened up for Masego at Bishop Museum and have been moving my body more in ways I never dreamed and being present. More life lol. I’ve also been facilitating so many breakthroughs for my clients which has been so humbling and powerful.
The themes I intuitively been feeling is a lot of play, curiosity, living and no surprise — boundaries. In the beginning I talk about the recent world events and I feel like you can hear it in my voice a mixture of sadness, grief, helplessness but also hope. I hope you are doing everything you possibly can to support and love up on yourself and your nervous system right now. Hug your loved ones tighter. If not, here is your reminder.

I also have a new summer playlist out! A lot of these tracks have been on repeat for me (hello Kendrick Lamar) or bring me that summer time vibe — going to Ice Palace skating to “Boys of Summer” because it was so damn hot outside, listening to Anuhea while at cruising at Sandy’s Beach, or even just getting ready for a night out or a night in alone. I’ll be adding to it throughout the summer, enjoy!
Wanted to take this time to highlight and congratulate these reiki practitioners who have always been healers! The words that were exchanged and the space that was shared was so special.
